Candida Albicans
Candida Albicans is a type of yeast fungus. Along with other types of Candida fungus, it occurs naturally in the human body, within the digestive system, the mouth, throat, gastrointestinal tract and genito-urinary tract.
Candida albicans is a key component of the bowel flora and has many positive functions in the body such as being a defence from harmful bacteria.
